Cornell puts on a strong show at SRF 2015
Cornell's delegation to the 17th International Conference on RF Superconductivity put on a strong show this year, with 2 of the 4 available young researcher prizes going to Cornell graduate students.
Fifth year graduate student Dan Gonnella (left) won 2nd place in the Best Student Poster category for his submission "Fundamental Studies on Doped SRF Cavities", and fourth year graduate student Daniel Hall (right) won 2nd place in the Young Researcher Invited Oral category for his talk on
"Nb3Sn Cavities: Material Characterisation and Coating Process Optimisation".
Both are members of the Cornell SRF group, and their PhD advisor is Professor Matthias Liepe.
