SVX Installation

Physical installation of the CLEO-II Silicon Vertex Detector occurred between May and September of 1995.

Beam pipe setup

The first picture shows the setup work aligning the masks and vacuum chambers of the beam pipe that the SVX detector will be mounted around.

Shields, monitors and cabling

In the second picture, the radiation shields and monitors have been installed, and the cabling to the radiation monitors is being secured.
