Quick user guide

Input file

• The input file name.stg has extension .stg. Here is an example: ECWitness.stg

  We assume that most of the parameters and calibration files are well chosen. (Check with an expert). The user need only update the list of RD numbers.

Running XbsmRootFitter

• We can assume that most of the parameters and calibration files are well chosen. (Check with an expert for updates). The user need only update the list of RD numbers and indicate 'd' or 'c' for dline (positrons) or cline (electrons)
• On a linux terminal type XbsmRootFitter ECWitness.stg
• The program will write .root and .out. (In this case Job_name = ECWitness) If you are a root user you can read the .root output. The .out is a text file.
