• Horizontal emittance = 63nm (no wigglers)
• Seven bunch head on pretzel
  • Parsitic beam-beam limits bunch current to ~10mA
  • I=10mA
  • horizontal emittance = vertical emittance = 31.5nm
  • => beam-beam tune shift = 0.305
  • => L = 6.5e31/bunch

  • Or if tune shift is limited to 0.1 then
  • I=3.3mA
  • L=0.7E31
• Beam energy = 1.88GeV
• Solenoid B=1.0T
