Find an error in create_lattice_config.f90. It was varying position of quad1 but none of the others.
It was correctly changing voltages on the 4 quads.
That means that the study is incomplete. In particular there is no test of all plates moving the same or opposite.
Correct the error and start a run with all plate1 moveing the same and voltage change the same.
The is efield_pitch_d1s2s3s4V1s2s3s4 . Here "d" is displacement and "V" is voltage "s2" means symmetric with 1, etc.

Try
       - track reference configuration. Maybe reference indecies are off?
             The tunes are very nearly the same as the current reference. 
       - same strategy of starting tracking in ring but with a different distribution

Correct with 'measured' index. Pitch correction is centered. Efield correction consistently overestimates.
Note that every one of the 4X256 configurations use the same muon distribution.
The other difference with the initial +-2mm study is that there is no radial B.

More statistics for reference in centered_ref so that can refit integral and spin...dat

Rerun compile_TIme_Dep in 5-2 so that measured tune is used to compute correction

It is not the distribution that is different, but the kicker field. Start over with kicker set to 292 in input.dat

Maybe the reason that the pitch correction is understimated is because beam is radially out?
Create a distribution that is centered by optimizing kick.

Correct with measured index. Correction for both pitch and efield centered at zero.
Note that every configuration is evaluated with a distinct random muon distribution.
