Preparation

Prerequisit physics courses at Cornell: Physics 214 or Physics 218

List of math courses at Cornell.
Mathematica topics that will be useful for Physics 316: Complex functions, Differential and integral calculus, Taylor Series, Vectors and calculus of functions of several variables, Ordinary differential equations, Partial differential equations, Fourier Series, Linear algebra.

Grading

The weekly homework assignment is due at Fridays 9:05am and accounts for 30% of the grade.  Each of the three Quizes is worth 10% and the final is worth 40% of the grade.
Academic Integrity is mandatory.
