Magnet Calibration Info

Magnet calibrations are kept in namelist format in [cesr.constants]magnet_type.cal.

Where magnet_type is one of:

• pulsed_magnets
• quadrupole_scaler
• quadrupole
• separator
• sextupole
• skew_quadrupole
• skew_sextupole
• steering

DCS's readme.txt:

To modify a calibration file:

1) modify the undated calibration file.

2) make a dated calibration file by copying the NEW undated calibration file
and appending the current date to it. The format for the dated file is:
    {calibration_type}_yyyy-mm-dd.CAL
Look at other files as examples.
The date signifies the STARTING point from which the calibration is valid.
