Dear Philmont Crew:

Baltimore Area Council requires all participants to be in complete travel uniform to and from Philmont. The travel uniform consists of the contingent shirt, scout shorts, hiking boots and gray socks.

Below is an equipment check list divided into three sections. The intent is that once your pack is filled, it not be opened until we arrive at Philmont. All travel items should be contained in the travel bag except your sleeping bag and pad.

Regarding the double places for check marks, what I do is to use one column for a shakedown and the other column for Philmont. When I assemble the gear, I place a slash on the check line and when I pack it into my pack, I put a backward slash (making an x).
