2010.07.13 - Reoptimize Sextupoles at Proposed Working Point

Note: The method originally used for setting tunes in the lattice (q_tune in CESRv, then load K1's into lattice) did not set the exact correct tunes. For better accuracy, iterate the q_tune command in CESRv before saving quad values. These plots reflect the correct tunes now. -JSh, 2010.07.20

Re-optimize sextupoles at new proposed working point of (0.578,0.542). Re-run frequency map, tune scan jobs. Compare to Frequency map, tune scan jobs at the same working point using original optimized (from 2010.05.04) sextupoles.

Try two optimization techniques:

Original Optimized Sextupoles, New Working Point

Use sextupoles optimized at original working point (0.571, 0.628), and run frequency map with working point (0.578, 0.542). Up-to-date plots located here.

Starting with 2fam sextupoles

At new working point (0.578,0.542), start with 2fam sextupole distribution and optimize using original BMADz constraints.

Starting with 2010.05.04 optimized sextupoles

At new working point (0.578,0.542), start with sextupoles optimized on 2010.05.04 for original working point (0.571, 0.628). Optimize using the same BMADz constraints.
