Environment
60 institutions, over 500 people, over 15 contries.
IRIX 6.5/ SGI workstations, PC/Linux RedHat 6.x.
Duration of experiment: ~5 years, ~5 years data taking (day/night shifts).
Off-line software
I am responsible for track reconstruction software. My current project is interacting propagator which allows to take into account multiple scattering during track propagation. For more information you are welcome to visit my Physics page. The outlines of my responsibility are the following:
Interacting Propagator (class diagramm)
track reconstruction in D0 detector;
track fitting;
track reconstruction inside of Silicon Microstrip detector;
data visualization and analysis.
The code is developing in C++, all tests are performed on SGI main cluster and local Linux/RedHat cluster.
Notes
I am a member of University of California, Riverside group and working in D0 international collaboration (over 500 people out of 15 countries).
I am a member of software development group for D0 experiment.
