The Blumlein is coupled to the kicker load with AA5966 RG-220 50 Ohm coaxial cable. The 12.5 ohm impedance of
the four 50 ohm cables in parallel matches the impedance of the Blumlein and the resistive load. The cables are encased in
conducting braid to provide additional shielding of the E-M signals of the fast kicker pulse.
The length of each of the four cables in MC1 is 37 feet.

The four cables are joined at the face of the brass cap that will fit over the center conductor of the Blumlein.
The ferrite rings over the ends of the calls mitigate the impedance mismatch
Each cable is terminated at the load end in a brass cap designed to fit over the end of a
load resistor . The cone guides the resistor
into the cap as the flange is fit to the end of the bazooka.

Termination
The cable termination is assembled for electrical and vacuum seal. Note that there is castor oil at the Blumlein end of the cable, and
Fluorinert at the bazooka end. Both ends should be sealed so that Fluorinert is not wicked into the braid of the cable and then transported
into the Blumlein where it will mix into the castor oil. In addition to the system of washers shown below, the space around the cable where is
passes through the aluminum plate, is filled with superglue.
