INTRODUCTION
Starting June 1999, I'm a member of Univ. California Riverside group involving in D0 experiment at FNAL. I'm currently involved in global tracking and B physics groups.
ENVIRONMENT
60 institutions, over 500 people, over 15 countries.
IRIX 6.5/ SGI workstations, PC/Linux RedHat 6.x.
Duration of experiment: ~5 years, ~5 years data taking (day/night shifts).
OFF-LINE SOFTWARE
I am a co-leader of global tracking group of D0 experiment. See my talk ( PDF) about current status of global tracking software. My responsibilities include a management of track reconstruction software. Current project(s) are:
Integration of different tracking techniques (road-following approach, histogramming methods, random search)
Interacting Propagator
track reconstruction in D0 detector;
track fitting;
track reconstruction inside of SMT;
The code is developing in C++, all tests are performed on SGI main cluster and local Linux/RedHat cluster.
