Timesheet is Coming

Starting this summer, all CLASSE employees will be required to track their effort using Timesheet - a new web application developed by CLASSE-IT and the Business Office. This represents the culmination of two years of effort building a business office application suite and a milestone in CLASSE's ability to manage and track the incredible amount of work we do on a huge and ever-changing number of grants and awards.

Some groups have already transitioned over to Timesheet from Replicon, and we will continue asking others to make that transition incrementally. If you would like to be an "early adopter" of the new app, please contact Bill Franklin.

  • All hourly employees will use Timesheet exclusively starting June 20.
  • All salaried employees will use Timesheet exclusively starting July 1.

Introductory documentation is available at https://wiki.classe.cornell.edu/Computing/TimesheetApp. There will also be two demonstrations of the new Timesheet app for anyone who has never used Replicon or has questions about how Timesheet works. If you've used Replicon, you should find Timesheet easy to use.

  • Friday, June 14, 10am @ Newman 311

The demonstration will include a walk-through of how to enter time and approve timesheets as a supervisor and a WBS approver. Bill Franklin will also be there to answer any accounting questions related to the WBS structure.
