LEPP Journal Club Seminars

Welcome to the LEPP Journal Club, the High Energy Physics Seminar at the Laboratory of Elementary-Particle Physics at Cornell University.

Friday's at 3 PM in 401 PSB we welcome speakers from all fields of elementary particle physics and cosmology giving talks on both theoretical and experimental topics. Some talks are of general interest in the field, while others relate more directly to the work of Cornell groups on CCAT/FYST, Simons Observatory, ACT, TIME, CMB-S4, CMS, Muon g-2, and PIONEER. Recent topics include detectors and instrumentation for particle physics and cosmology, neutrino physics, BSM searches, heavy flavor physics, QCD, accelerator physics, the CMB, dark matter, extragalactic astronomy, and more.

The LEPP Journal Club is currently organized by Sam Walker and Michael Oshiro. Previous organizers include Victoria Butler, and David Tarazona. For more information or if you are interested in giving a seminar at our Journal Club please contact Katerina Malysheva or Lyanna (Xiangyu) Zhang

Invited speakers can click here for information about planning their trip to Ithaca (the JC site has recently transitioned to a new framework; in case some information did not make the transition, the old JC speaker information page can be found here).
