Check the HVEast S5S1.22 with Dan Peterson
Dan Peterson and I checked the HVEast S5S1.22. There is no voltage from the front panel when ramping to 2000V. So, there is broken wire in the blue connector or in the bleed resister circuit. As we have jumped by using the S5S1.21, we will leave it for now and just disable that channel from the constants.

Testing the Board #16
The board #16 (SN: B51260) has been tested today.
When ramping up to 1500 V, bulk 0 suddenly dropped to 0 V with no current on the load. Same thing happened on bulk 1 and bulk 2 on 2000V. This had been tested on different slots in the mainframe, they all gave the same results.

OK.
- Reload the HVGUI in the counting room, it's reflecting the current HV settings in the telent window.
- Write E-log:
The HV Detector map has been updated. Now the HVGUI is reflecting the same situation as those telnet windows. There is no black or gray colored sections in either current or voltage measurement GUI pictures. It is easier for the shifters to diagnose new problems.

Disable HVEast channels
We had HV problem with the DRCA this morning. The symptom is a few HV channels (PitEast 7.2.20, 8.1.4, 8.1.6, 8.1.12, 8.1.14) kept tripping at FILL voltages(same as RUN @ 370V).
We first suspected bad HV module. But after replacing the module(#8) with #17, the problem persisted. We ran a few quick tests as list below:
(1) replaced HV module in slot-8, did NOT help.
(2) disconnected the blue connectors on the HV modules, this helped.
(3) disconnected the wires that feed into the detector on the HV patch panel, this did NOT help.
We'll take the #17 board back tomorrow.
As PitEast 7.1.20 and 7.1.22 share the same panel in the DRCA, Dan Hertz suggested to disable the 7.1.22 as well. So, I've made that changed too.

Fix the DRCA problem
Two problems of DRCA have been fixed today. The first was solved by replacing the resister in the front patch panel. The second one was due to one loose connection channel from the blue connector to the Pancho panel.
Now, the HV constants has been set back to the stage two days ago, which have the DRCA channels enabled.
Check the DRCA voltage
They are the same voltage.
Try the kerberos to login
Message from Ji Li:
(1) log on to a public LEPP computer with your own user account. solsda would be the preferred machine if you are logging in from an off-site computer. (2) issue */kinit/* to obtain kerberos ticket. Please note, the tickets have a 24 hours(maybe 48 hours) life span. If your tickets have expired, simply get a new one. (3) */krlogin -l cleo31 solon2/* (or any other online computer).
kinit krlogin -l cleo31 solon2
OK.
